These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the What?Pet™ mobile app and this website. By using What?Pet, you agree to these Terms.

About What?Pet

What?Pet helps you explore pet compatibility, compare options, and get practical guidance based on your lifestyle and preferences. What?Pet is an informational product. It is not a veterinary, legal, financial, or other professional service.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live and comply with applicable app store terms. If you use What?Pet on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Please provide accurate information. If you no longer want an account, you can delete it from in-app account settings.

Subscriptions and billing

• What?Pet may offer premium features through subscriptions or other in-app purchases.
• Payments, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple or Google under their respective store terms and policies.
• We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements in the app.
• Prices, billing periods, and available packages are shown in the app before you purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use What?Pet for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service
• Use assistant features to create harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
• Interfere with other users or the security of the platform

Informational guidance only

What?Pet content, compatibility scores, and assistant responses are provided for general informational purposes. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed veterinarian, trainer, or other qualified professional. You are responsible for your own pet ownership decisions, including health, safety, care, and suitability for your home.

Assistant features

Assistant responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for how you use that output and for checking important information independently.

Intellectual property

What?Pet, including its branding, design, software, and content, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms.

Disclaimers

What?Pet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that any match, score, or recommendation will be right for your specific situation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, What?Pet and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including decisions you make about acquiring or caring for a pet.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if needed to protect the service or other users. You may stop using What?Pet at any time.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue using What?Pet after an update takes effect, that use is subject to the updated Terms.
